Getting started
Get started with Bearbits
Sign in, use the browser, manage subscription access, and know where to get help when something blocks your account.
What Bearbits is for
Bearbits runs in your web browser. It captures live audio from your microphone and, when you enable it, audio from your meeting (system audio). It turns speech into a live transcript and helps you with summaries, suggestions, and follow-up after the call.
No meeting bot joins the participant list. You stay in control of what is recorded and shared.
Browser and permissions
The first time you record, your browser asks for microphone access. Grant access so Bearbits can transcribe speech. If you use system audio to capture the meeting, the browser may ask you to share a tab or screen—choose the option that includes audio and confirm.
Keep the Bearbits tab open while you meet. If you close or refresh the tab during a recording, you may lose work or interrupt transcription.
Account and subscription
After you sign up, choose a monthly plan that fits your usage: Starter ($19/mo), Pro ($49/mo), or Executive ($99/mo). Plans differ in live transcription hours per month, per-meeting duration limits, workspace caps, AI quotas, language coverage, and retention. Billing self-service is available through your billing provider’s customer portal when your account is linked—open it from Settings to update payment methods, invoices, or cancellation.
If a paid plan ends, you can still open your workspace and existing data, but transcription and AI features stay disabled until you buy another plan. If your account cannot access the app at all, follow the on-screen message and contact support if you need help.
Where to go next
Start a new meeting from the app home, then explore the live meeting guide and Assistant help for in-call AI. Use Workspace to search or manage projects, people, and tasks.
FAQ
Do I need to install a desktop app?
No. Bearbits works in a modern web browser. Use the latest version of Chrome, Edge, or Safari for the best experience.
Why was I redirected to subscribe or support?
Your account may need a current paid plan or a billing check. If you paid in the past, Bearbits can still keep your workspace available while transcription and AI stay disabled. Use the in-app message to resolve access, or email support if you believe this is a mistake.
